Fancy
an afternoon of fun for all the family as well as the chance to pre-order
your Christmas tree and turkey? Well, here’s a date and event that should be in
everyone’s diary. This year's Balerno Parish Church Christmas Fair for
Charity will be held on Saturday 24th
November 1-3.30pm in the
concourse of
Once again, a fun packed afternoon is guaranteed with a host of FREE entertainment including balloon shapes and stories with Clownbo, music and dance by local children and The Great Big Enormous Crocodile story telling with our local library. We also have our new games area, crafts, face painting and of course the man himself…. Santa Claus! You’ll find all the usual stalls including home baking, tea & coffee and much much more.
New to
this year’s event is a very useful pre-ordering service to help adults have
more of a hassle free Christmas. We all lack time so why not come down and
pre order your Christmas tree and turkey and tick those two items off your to
do list! Caring Christmas Trees with the Bethany Trust who aim to help the
homeless in

event is in aid of charity and last year four local charities benefited from
the money raised which totaled
over £1,300. We hope to beat this total this year to raise even more money
for worthwhile causes including East of Scotland Deaf Children’s
It’s a great way to meet people, raise money for charity and certainly promises to be an event no one should miss out on no matter the age. Please come along and join in the fun.
