The Guild
"Strength through God's Presence"
The Guild is a movement within the Church which welcomes and encourages women to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.
Meetings consist of a varied programme of talks, discussions, demonstrations and social gatherings, based on a different theme each year.
The Guild's Project Partnership Scheme seeks to raise awareness, as well as funds, for six major areas of need. Branches can choose to support any or all of the projects over a three-year period.
During the Summer, outings, walks and a "Strawberry Tea" keep members in touch with each other.
From September to April, meetings are held in the Church Hall on the first and third Wednesday evening of the month at 7.30 pm and the last Thursday morning at 10.30 am.
