About the Church

Balerno Parish Church strives to follow the main principles of the Church of Scotland: tradition, protestant, reformed and presbyterian. Working within the community of Balerno, we aim to support and reach out to the local residents of the community in their daily lives.

From our humble beginnings in 1826, we have our roots firmly in the development of the village through the years. And we plan to continue to work closely with the community through the development of Christian-based initiatives focussed on fellowship, education and worship.
